"I think what the movie shows is that it's really hard to stay grounded [when you become famous], because everybody's saying, 'Yes, yes, yes,' " she explained. "Your real friends are the people who say 'no' sometimes."

Cyrus could barely contain her excitement over plans to host a massive Sweet 16 party at Disneyland, revealing she had picked out her dress and tiara on Tuesday. "I've never had a parade before for my birthday, so that'll be cool," she grinned, saying all she wants for a gift is her own car. Dad Billy Ray then replied, "She can buy her own car, so we're thinking about buying her a dealership."

Moments later, the curtains pulled back to reveal a 25-piece orchestra, and Cyrus unveiled a new song from her April 10 film. As she belted out the tune live, a huge screen showed never-before-seen clips from the movie that had her swinging from a rope in front of a waterfall, feeding chickens on a ranch, falling off a horse and dodging a runaway ostrich and exploding birthday cake.

"We just did a bunch of takes," he added. "Nothing has to be organized. We was like, 'We gonna do it and then see what we got outta that.' It just all came together. It took eight hours. A bunch of takes, six outfits. And the song ain't even four minutes. [The song] is basically a perspective of not settling for what you doing. You can be doing better. Even if you think you're at the peak of your career, you're at the top, it's something else you can be doing. Don't settle into what you been pretty much forced into doing."

    A U.K. Sensation
Zeta-Jones plays a sexpot farm girl on the TV show The Darling Buds of May. "Within one hour of television, my whole life changed," she tells the Sunday Times in 1998. "After that, every person I had a cup of coffee with was the 'new love of my life.'" Some of her high-profile loves include: director Nick Hamm, actors John Leslie and Angus Macfadyen (who broke off their 15-month engagement in 1996), and Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall. Sick of the media hoopla surrounding her in the U.K., she packs up and moves to L.A. at 24.

Peder Seglund Lyrics: The rapper's tumultuous relationship with Tompkins went public back in late May, when a suspicious fire razed the rapper's $1.4 million Dix Hills, Long Island, home. Tompkins was living in the house with Marquise at the time of the fire, and both suffered smoke inhalation as a result.

Tompkins blamed 50 for the fire, and told reporters hours after the inferno was extinguished that the rapper had threatened her life just days earlier. 50 denied he had anything to do with the blaze, and in June, filed a $20 million defamation suit against Tompkins in Connecticut. 50 has been questioned by authorities about the fire, and according to one of the arson investigators he met with, the rapper has been "very cooperative."

Because it's Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, tributes to the civil-rights leader, who was assassinated four decades ago, are showing constantly on the television screen. Amid the celebrations comes a disgrace: a news report about a shooting on Los Angeles' Crenshaw Boulevard during a MLK Day parade. The Game looks around and sees that almost everything he's doing is contradictory to King's legendary "dream." There's blunt smoke in the air and all types of liquor, and the scenario has the Game a little unsettled. At the same time, he's inspired. After kicking everyone out, he places a call to Hi-Tek and gives him instructions for making a beat.
