In this episode, Sasha Ottey speaks to Dr. Gretchen Kubacky about anxiety, depression, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

Perhaps you have been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed or even thought about suicide. Dr. Kubacky would like to help you to feel more in control of your emotions, and improve the quality of your life.

Dr. Kubacky (www.drkubacky.com) is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in West Los Angeles. Dr. Kubacky has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis on counseling individuals and couples who are dealing with infertility, PCOS, diabetes, and other endocrine disorders. Also being a PCOS patient who is dealing with type II diabetes, hypothyroidism, and infertility, enables her to be especially skilled and passionate about helping patients with similar issues learn how to live happier, healthier lives, and achieve a better balance in their mood and functioning.

Dr. Kubacky is a professional member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, and inCYST. She is also a member of PCOS Challenge, and a number of other organizations serving people with endocrine disorders.

She believes that successfully coping with the complexities of PCOS often includes the need to process grief and loss – for healthy body functioning, changed relationships, unexpected restrictions, and complications that limit possibilities.

Tune in to learn from Dr. Kubacky how to better cope with many of the psychological issues surrounding PCOS.
