Polycystic Ovarian Sydrome - The Faces of PCOS

PCOSChallenge.com - Christie Pickard has struggled with weight most of her adult life. After storming in her doctor's office and demanding an explanation for the unexplained weight gain and inability to lose weight, she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. She sees a nutritionist once a week and exercises regularly. She has lost over 100 pounds and believes that you can too! Christie says:"My journey is not over, but it is off to a good start!"

Rachel Niemi is a 26 year old doctorate student working toward her degree in clinical psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She was diagnosed with PCOS in March of 2009. She is married and lives with her husband in Michigan City, IN. In light of her recent struggles with PCOS, Rachel is now moved to become an advocate for women with PCOS.
