This week’s show is about how we handle everyday situations and how much better they can be handled if they are approached with 'presence.’ For me, I can remember countless times that I 'thought' that I was finally “there”--the 'there' that relates to a level of stillness within, conscious day-to-day living, and so forth. I had done the work on myself and understood with great clarity where things fit in. I had reached a particular goal at work, mastered a difficult yoga pose, and communicated with my ex-wife without being yelled at. Then, suddenly something unexpected happens--maybe the personal loan to be paid back to me never materializes, or I get a phone call that throws me. Now I'm angry, stressed, maybe even detached. How do we prevent these unexpected setbacks from derailing our presence? Join us this evening as we discuss ways to more easily take the better/kindler/gentler path.
