It is hosted by Big Daddy Frank, "Your Invisible Warrior" every Friday. Words are more than words, they start the change you want to be. The world is confused and our leaders refuse to do the very jobs they were set to do. The time has come for all Patriots to step forward and lead--not sleep! Today's show deals with WWII Veterans who are known for their strength and perseverance. Their stories will soon be all we have to honor the valor and sacrifice of the greatest generation. The remaining time we have with these hero's is fading and that is why our special guest today is world renounced author, Howard Layton. In his new book, Layton recounts his adventures as Royal Airforce Navigator, provides the only personal account of victory at El-Alamein and talks about his love won and lost during the war. "Love and Sand: An RAF Flyer's Memoir of Love, Lies, and Mayhem in the World War II Deserts of North Africa. (Sept 2008) Check out his book at Three Spires Publishing, ISBN 978-0-967008-5-7, For Only $24.00! His first book is "The Thirteen Club". At 2pm I give our listeners some background of the war until about 2:30pm. Then, Howard will be on at 2:30 to tell his story. This is a great opportunity for our younger generation and history buffs to hear this first-hand account of WWII before their voices fade in the distance. Check it out and tell your friends to listen. After he is interviewed, I will open my phone lines to take live calls........Check out his web site at http://www.howardlayton.com

Send Christmas cheer to our wounded troops!
Frank, Thousands of wounded troops will spend the holidays recovering from devastating injuries... far from family and home. Don't let Christmas feel like just another day for our brave heroes who have already sacrificed so much.
Help make their Christmas brighter and join us in sending cheerful wishes to our heroes.
VFW will be delivering a giant Christmas card to wounded troops recovering at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Wash., and we want your signature to be included.
Add your name to the giant Christmas card and let these brave men and women know that we are deeply grateful for their sacrifices.
(2007 VFW Christmas Card presented at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL)
We need all signatures by December 5th in order to deliver the card before Christmas. So, please sign the card today. Thank you for supporting our troops and veterans.
Help us get 25,000 names on the VFW Christmas card!
Every signature means so much to wounded troops.

Change .. Change ... Change!!!!!!!!!!
Not long ago I read a joke ... It said all the politicians running for president are promising change to the American people. We send them billions and billions of tax dollars and they send us the change. Funny? Not really; there is too much truth in it to be funny. That got me to thinking .... They all promise change. How about if they run on a promise of restoration rather than change. A restoration that would take us back in time to a place where things ran better, smoother and life was more enjoyable. Change? That, in truth, is what they have been giving us all along. We used to have a strong dollar ... Politicians changed that. Life used to be sacred ... Politicians changed that. Marriage used to be sacred ... Politicians are changing that. We used to be respected around the world ... Politicians changed that. We used to have a strong manufacturing economy .. Politicians changed that. We used to have lower tax structures .... Politicians changed that. We used to enjoy more freedoms ... Politicians changed that. We used to be a large exporter of American made goods ... Politicians changed that. We used to be an openly Christian nation ... Politicians changed that. We used to teach patriotism in schools .... Politicians changed that. We used to educate children in schools ... Politicians changed that. We used to enjoy freedom of speech .... Politicians changed that. We used to enforce LEGAL citizenship ... Politicians changed that. We used to have affordable food & gas prices ... Politicians changed that, too. .. and one could go on and on with this list. What hasn't been changed, politicians are promising to change that as well if you will elect them. When, oh when, is America going to sit back with open eyes and look at what we once were and where we have come and say, enough is enough? The trouble is, America 's youthful voters today don't know of the great America that existed forty and fifty years ago. They see the world as if it has always existed, as it is now. When will we wake up? Tomorrow may be too late. When will America realize ...Politicians are what is wrong with America ? PASS THIS ONE AROUND FOR A CHANGE
And to remind us Who is really in Charge!

The American Veterans Center holds it's annual American Veterans Conference every year during the weekend before Veterans Day (This year Nov. 6-8th) in Washington DC. This conference always has a star-studded list of veterans and speakers from all generations and every conflict from WWII to today. Among others, Lt. General Hal Moore once again joins this line up for what will be his last "official" appearance at the conference. Lt. General Moore is a legend to most veterans, and with the popularity of the Mel Gibson Movie "We Were Soldiers" he has become a national hero. Last year the "We Were Soldiers" panel was a huge success, and left us all speechless.

We don’t care what you ride, what your political views are, or whether you're a "hawk" or a "dove". It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where you’re from or what your income is. You don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.
1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.
We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.
