  Operation Homefront Announces “Operation Bridal Gown”

  National Non-Profit Partners with International Bridal Company, Alfred Angelo, to Fulfill Dreams of Military Brides
  

  
  WEST PALM BEACH – Through the generosity of Alfred Angelo, the world’s leading manufacturer of bridal gowns and bridal party attire, Operation Homefront has received a gift of 186 designer gowns to be donated to military brides throughout the state of Florida. Operation Homefront’s flexibility addresses nearly any need, including auto and home repairs, financial assistance in emergency situations, and advocacy when facing mortgage foreclosure.  This bridal donation adds a new opportunity to bring  “morale” to service members in the state of Florida.  By making  Alfred Angelo wedding gowns available to servicewomen, or soon-to-be spouses of servicemen, Operation Homefront is helping fulfill the long awaited dream of these dedicated women and men.  Says Amanda Sheronas, Director of Public Relations for Alfred Angelo, “We are thrilled to be able to partner with Operation Homefront, Florida for such a wonderful cause.  To know that Alfred Angelo is able to help make the wedding dreams of our committed men and women come true is a wonderful way to be able to give back for all that they sacrifice in serving our country.” First preference for these gowns will be given to servicewomen brides who are deployed or wounded, or soon-to-be brides of servicemen deployed or wounded, available on a first come, first serve basis.  The dresses will be distributed to strategic allocation points throughout the state beginning early August of 2008.  Styles and sizes will vary..
