How many times have you heard two or more people fighting about abortion.  One side says "The mother needs to get on with her life and prepare according to her choice whether to have a child or not".   The other says "You don't know the potential of that child.  He may be fatherless, mother may be single and poor.  The mother may struggle for access to health care.  It is not up to you to rule out the potential of that child.  The future of that child is in God's hands on loan to the parents.  He could become president of the United States."  WAIT A MINUTE, THAT POOR FATHERLESS CHILD WITH NO FUTURE HAS BECOME PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!

Barack Obama posted some serious viewership numbers when he was inaugurated.  That's truly impressive.  Neilsen said he had nearly 37.8 million viewers.  Whether that is a statement on Bush, Obama, or both depends on who you ask.  Most Republicans I know have mixed views about George W. Bush and will not categorically praise him across the board.  Nevertheless, the highest ratings of all time for an inauguration were for Ronald Reagan who had 41.8 million viewers watch him swear in his first inauguration in 1981.  Click here for Neilsen stats.  The reason for this can be found here from the Beaurau of Labor and Statistics that shows from 1976 to present that ALMOST ALL STATES HAD HIGHEST UNEMPLOYMENT (double digits) on a downward spiral that bottomed out by 1983.
 

This is a message to you that Barack can be on top, but his policies will have to be more business friendly than Jimmy Carter to avoid the double digit unemployment percentages.  Carter's policies created by being hostile to businesses and thereby to jobs, wages, and pensions.
