Massachusetts State Senate Paves the Way for Educational Incompetence - Egad!!!

Massachusetts has once again set itself up to be a laughingstock to the rest of the country. The state senate has authorized a bill that would allow demonstrably incompetent teacher aspirants to - TEACH anyway. Rest assured that said incompetents will never find their way into the classrooms of affluent, liberal and politically correct communities. Their damage will be "limited" to the communities that can least afford mediocre educations to begin with: modest income homes with no alternatives to mediocre public (government run) schools. It is striking that liberal politicians and their groupies repeatedly extol the virtues of "public education" while sending their own children to private schools. Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick is a perfect example; he attended exclusive Milton Academy and then went on to Harvard. His children attend private schools; his administration has been bought and paid for by teacher's unions. Teacher's unions, not surprisingly, vigorously oppose true school reform. It will take a mighty struggle to reverse their influence, not just in Massachusetts, but nationwide.
