TUESDAY MAY 28, 2013

GUEST:  ROB MATHIS

7:30 PM CST

Director Dr. Tom Gauthier and Dari Bradley CEO of Patriot Media, Incorporated, are honored to continue our support of the Military Author Industrial Complex.

Welcome to Military Author Radio Rob Mathis!

R.A. Mathis has worn many hats as a husband, father, student, teacher, soldier, and public official. As a high school math teacher, he was voted Teacher of the Year in 2004 and was honored by the Tennessee State Legislature for his work. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a BS in mathematics, he served nine years in the army as an armored cavalry officer, rising to the rank of captain. During that time, he served a yearlong combat tour in Iraq.

Upon returning home to his wife, kids and teaching position in Tennessee, he increasingly turned to writing as an outlet after his experiences in the Iraq War. His articles about the war have been published in several periodicals and he has lectured extensively on the subject.

Eventually, a book began to take form and he published his novel, Ghosts of Babylon. In 2010, he was elected to public office in Tennessee where he currently lives.
