    Are you ready to "Talk It Out"?

    Well!

    Last week's show was fun and eventful! We talked to Julie Borders, and took calls about the state of leadership in the Black community. This election season has shown us that there is so much more to how we choose our leaders than race, and yet race inevitably becomes a part of it all whether we like it to or not.

    We spoke to Orrin Hudson, of "Be Someone" about his innovativr program, and how he helps kids using the game of chess. Orrin was a character, and he's definitely a hero!

    We also learned about "Fit In The Spirit", from Steffini Bethea, a regular contributor to Talk-It-Out.com. In that segment, we learned that I love to throw good money away on personal trainers.

    This week, we take up the issue of 'passing the baton' again with Julie Borders, and then talk to Matty T of YAYA entertainment about the unique shows he promotes all over the country. Finally, we'll talk to the Georgia State Director of Obama for America about the results of today's South Carolina primary, and what's next for the campaign.

    The Debut of "Talk It Out!"

    Well - after a myriad of goofy test shows, the day is finally here!

    The debut of "Talk It Out!",  one of the newest shows on Blog Talk Radio. I'm your host, Patricia Wilson-Smith, author
    producer, and technology junkie. This show is proof of what too  much technology on the wrong hands will do.

    On today's show, we're going to be talking to Steffini Bethea of "Fit In The Spirit." See, I paid Steffini to be my
    personal trainer and I've been hiding from her ever since. This won't be so much an interview as it will be an
    intervention. (Clear throat).

    We'll also talk to Orrin Hudson of "Be Someone", an organization that teaches children to play the game of life
    by teaching them to play the game of chess. Orrin was featured in People Magazine this week, and is a popular
    lecturer and motivational speaker. Don't miss this one - he's also a REAL character!

    Finally, Julie Borders, a business consultant and social activist will be joining me to talk about the apparent
    reluctance on the part of the political "old guard" to make way for the young bloods, like Senator Barack Obama.
    She an I are going to tell you about an interesting experience we shared this week, so you wanna stay tuned for that
    one too!
