After 35 years corporate experience Patricia Adams transitions to Jazz Singer. Takes to the stage becomes nominated in the 44th Annual Grammy Awards in four categories. Delivers a workshop at Berklee College of Music in Boston her business jazz jam for the entrepreneurial musician, Bandleader Toolkit© a collaboration with her music director, Berklee Professor Ray Santisi where they explore the nuts and bolts of prospecting, booking, managing gigs and venues. Her vocals deliver an approach with emphasis on intimacy between the band leader and musicians sounds mixed of jazz, blues, gospel, and salsa. She puts together a musical road atlas sets her apart from many of the jazz vocalists on the contemporary scene. Her unusual arrangements of well-known material are available through CDBaby.com and patriciaadams.com.  With a BS and MBA degrees, studied music theory, harmony, and improvisation at the New England Conservatory , the Performing Arts School of Worcester and studied with Semenya McCord, Dominique Eade, Frank Wilkins, Jeannie Lovetri of Voice Workshop and Jim Carson, Sheila Jordan and Kirk Nurock.  Listen to one of her tracks entitled "Frim Fram Sauce from Album First Sundays ".  She retains her exemplary repertoire, mixing standards with wonderful songs that never quite make the "chestnut" category but should.  Patricia Adams Quartet at Ryles Jazz Club on 1st Sundays, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm singin' and swingin' to standing room only crowds.
