My people we must continue to stand as one. For as you all know it is together that we are most powerful. It was together that our people fought, went to jail, and even died for our sake. So it is now more than ever that we must stand taller than ever, and keep the fight that they started alive in 2008 !!!!!!!!!!!

In today’s day and age the cost of college is become more a more expensive and some parents are still paying off loan from their own college debt. There has to be another way than taking out student loans to pay for education. Start looking early for Scholarships, Grants, and Opportunities at Tuition Free Schools.
There are some great resources and “free ways” to preparing your child for college:
By Alison DamastStudents and parents obsessing over how they are going to pay for college might want to consider one of higher education's greatest secrets: tuition-free colleges. Although these schools are few and far between, they remain an attractive option for students looking to walk away from college debt-free. Most were founded nearly a century ago and are able to offer students zero tuition because of hefty endowments and magnanimous donors. These colleges range from liberal arts schools to ones that specialize in engineering, art, and music. Some come with unusual work-study requirements—such as requiring students to put in time on the school's dairy farm—or mandatory campus activities. Students who attend these schools can save as much as $32,000 or more in tuition each year, savings that can add up to more than $120,000 over a four-year period. Not surprisingly, some of these schools are among the most competitive to get into in the U.S.BusinessWeek.com has rounded up a list of 10 colleges that offer students a free education. Except where noted, room and board are not included. READ MORE: http://images.businessweek.com/ss/07/11/1114_tuitionfree/index_01.htm

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania on Monday joined Harvard and other elite private colleges in announcing loan-free financial aid packages aimed at middle- and upper-middle-class students.
All financially eligible undergraduates will receive grants instead of loans beginning in fall 2009, Penn officials said.
"Our aim is to send a signal out to every family who would not otherwise believe they could afford our tuition and fees that we're affordable to students from every economic background," Penn President Amy Gutmann said.
Penn costs about $46,000 a year for tuition and room and board. The school must continue charging such fees to those who can afford it in order to offer financial aid to less affluent students, Gutmann said.
Penn, an Ivy League school, will phase in the changes starting in September by eliminating loans for students with family incomes under $100,000. At the same time, it will reduce need-based loans by 10 percent for students whose families make more than $100,000.
The new loan-free policy continues a trend among top-tier schools to replace loans with grants in financial aid packages.
Harvard University and Swarthmore College announced similar policies this month. Yale University is expected to announce enhanced financial aid in January.
When fully implemented in 2009, Penn's new initiative will affect about 2,600 students and cost the school an extra $12.5 million a year, officials said.
The no-loan policy will be financed mainly through the university's $3.5 billion fundraising campaign.
Penn already covers tuition and room and board for students whose families earn $60,000 or less per year.
