I am so excited about the the release my new CD Same Train as it has afforded me the opportunity of returning to the the Country and Gospel roots of my youth. Music was often near either listening to Mom and Dad's favorite Country or Gospel LP's or when we would travel in the car with the three of us singing harmony to an old Gospel favorite.
Many people want to know who do I sound like? I guess I reall don't think about it but I do know who my favorite artists were as a boy. I remember listening for hours to ELvis and the Country legends of Marty Robbins, and Johnny Cash.
I want to reach out through my music and touch those in need of Spiritual encouragement and give them a chance to take a minute to sit back, look around and see the good things that may be right in front of them.
A minister that has gone to be with the Lord was often quoted saying: "Many things will come and pass... but only what's done for Christ will last." I believe I am his and He is mine.
My new soon to be released CD is titled Same Train. The first single a beautiful and inspiring song titled "Shine On" which has already been released to radio.
