Are we headed for a slippery slope? Does it seem as if our legislators are more concerned about providing hand outs to a welfare state with one hand while the other doles out billions in bailouts to wealthy corporations? Is the actual pool of middle class tax payers footing the bill for this reckless spending shrinking as wealth gets concentrated more and more at the top. Why is Congress and the current Administration throwing money around as if it doesn't matter? If our politicians won't be fiscally responsible what can we, the taxpayers, the ones still providing the bulk of the dollars in taxes and the back bone of our country’s credit backing to do something about it? Tonight we discuss the measures that we can do to keep our boat afloat and it doesn't have much to do with the Republicans or Democrats. They seem to be to busy punching holes in the aft and stern of the ship while condemning each other for not using the correct tools to do so, hmmmm - maybe their just protecting their jobs and looking out for their constituents.
