Completing your first marathon is a huge achievement.

With months and sometimes years spent working towards running the 26.2 miles / 42.2km for the first time most of us don't spend much time thinking about what next.

Once the post marathon celebration begins to fade first time marathoners can encounter a number of difficult challenges.
