Kathrine Switzer changed the world of running in 1967 when she became the first woman to officially enter and then run the Boston Marathon.

From that day in 1967 Kathrine has worked tirelessly to empower women to change their lives by the simple act of running. As a speaker, author, commentator and runner Kathrine's contribution has been outstanding.

Kathrine first appeared on the Partnerunning Show during the Live at the Malaysia Women Marathon in April 2013.

In August 2013 we caught up with Kathrine and spent a wonderful hour in conversation on topics including:

  • The 1967 Boston Marathon and aftermath;
  • Women's running;
  • Running today and in the future;
  • Corporate fitness; and,
  • Kathrine and her husband Roger Robinson on stage together.

We encourage you to visit kathrineswitzer.com and learn all about this remarkable woman.
