Bones are living tissue which change in thickness, mass and shape through use. Similar to muscles, bones require certain types of movements to strengthen them. However, it is important to do the right type of exercise, especially for people who may have bone deficiencies such as osteopenia or osteoporosis. In addition, did you know that balance is also extremely important, especially for people with bone density issues in order to prevent falls which could have the devasting effect of fracture.
