This program is about a conversation we need to have, and it’s about time this conversation began.
Eschatology is the study of the “Last Days/End Times” and while this word is not in the Bible, its teachings clearly are.
From Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21, there are nearly 10,000 scriptures on these “Last Days/End Times” so while it is no little subject, it is widely argued in smaller circles, and largely ignored in bigger circles.
Of all the Church Councils that have been held over the centuries, Eschatology is one subject that has never been the focus of any.
Christian Eschatology is almost exclusively futurist in expectation, but there is a minority view that has been scoffed, stomped, squashed, ridiculed, and attacked, every time someone has brought it forth. Christian history; and religion in general, has a long and storied past of persecuting those who do not tow the line with Orthodoxy.
We’re going to introduce, and discuss what is commonly known as Fulfilled Eschatology; and for anyone somewhat seasoned, this goes way beyond Preterism.
Fulfilled Eschatology is quite simply, a belief that the “Last Days/End Times” in the Bible, have already occurred/manifested, but have largely been misinterpreted; and as such, are put forth as continually imminent, impending, and certain.
Rather than being about something yet future, and global in nature, Fulfilled Eschatology puts forth a study that says these “Last Days/End Times” have already occurred, and should be viewed through a “local” filter, with respect toward any future relevance.
Join us each week as we go through the various parts of this whole, and work towards bringing a better understanding, a recognition of its eventual transformation of Christianity, and how this view changes everything we view on a global basis.
