  Scratch at knowledge and invariably a mystery lurks just beneath the surface. Richard Syrett has an indefatigable and passionate pursuit of these mysteries and an insatiable curiosity of the world around him.  His unique and finely tuned story telling abilities have made his radio program an addictive appointment tune for over a decade.

  Richard began his career at Toronto blowtorch radio station CFRB in the early ‘90s working as a producer for such broadcast luminaries as Ed Needham, John Oakley, Brian Linehan and Michael Coren.  By the late ‘90s Richard found himself on the other side of the microphone discussing cover-ups, political intrigue, conspiracies and unexplained mysteries.  His Sunday night program was a ratings winner and gained national media attention.  In 2003 he moved down the dial to AM 640 in Toronto where he produced an edgy morning show and continued to deliver his weekly late-night conspiracy show on Friday nights.  Richard returned to CFRB for two years beginning in early 2007 this time delivering a nightly program that quickly eclipsed Coast to Coast AM in the Toronto market.   In August 2009, Richard returned to Toronto airwaves Sunday nights on Zoomer Radio AM 740.  AM 740 is a 50,000-watt, clear channel with a powerhouse signal reaching New York City, Washington, D.C., Chicago, from Maine to Minnesota and as far south as the Carolinas.

  Despite the controversial nature of his show, Richard leads a quiet family life residing in Unionville, north of Toronto with his bride, the Mighty Aphrodite and his twin boys, Zach and North.

  Ufo Hard Evidence

  In 1985, Missourian Bob White recovered physical evidence following a UFO encounter in Colorado. In 1996, Mr. White was flown to the classified Los Alamos National Labs for an analysis of his evidence. White was told by senior staff that the object he recovered was extraterrestrial. The lab recanted their position later, also claiming to have seen another object "similar" to his. The Los Alamos official analysis, published for the first time in White's book UFO Hard Evidence (Galde Press 2005) reveal inept or intentionally misleading scientific results which had a negative impact upon a private citizen. Mr. White has passed several polygraph examinations given by law enforcement professionals concerning the Los Alamos matter and the circumstances surrounding his UFO encounter. In 2000 White became aware of a declassified U.S. Army document "file number 202085" from the 1940's titled "Flying Saucers in Denmark". In it are multiple images of an artifact nearly identical to the one Mr. White recovered some 40 years later.

  Tim Harte ON MESA: Multifrequency Energy Sensor Array

  Haunt phenomena have been described as anomalous visual, auditory, or tactile experiences; sensed presences, sudden onset of emotional experiences (fear, sadness, depression, and anger), erratic functioning of electrical or mechanical equipment, and object movement in certain environments. MESA is a portable data acquisition and analysis system that simultaneously measures a variety of energies commonly associated with haunt phenomena, and has been used at over 150 survey sites. At present, the system collects data on incident infrared, visible, and ultraviolet light intensities; natural and artifically generated electromagnetic fields, gamma ray radiation, galvanic skin response of a human subject, infrasound, and vibration. MESA researchers also deploy digital still and video cameras, a unique two-camera system connected to a magnetometer, as well as audio recording - all to document haunt phenomena. We continue to seek out locations purported to have haunt and poltergeist activity. The idea that became MESA was first conceived of by Tim Harte in 1981. Over a delicious Godfather's pizza shared with technically-minded high school pal David Black, Tim presented an idea to "wire up" a room with a variety of energy sensors, record their output in a computer and analyze the results. In 1994 Tim asked Dave to design and build it. MESA was first realized using a compact laptop computer with custom A/D hardware, sensors and software. Soon afterwards Mike Hollinshead joined the group, contributing a unique vibration sensor, community web site (now Paranormal House), and much more. Since MESA's inception many improvements have been made - primarily through the generosity of others in donations of equipment, new ideas and encouragement. We kindly thank you all!
