  Scratch at knowledge and invariably a mystery lurks just beneath the surface. Richard Syrett has an indefatigable and passionate pursuit of these mysteries and an insatiable curiosity of the world around him.  His unique and finely tuned story telling abilities have made his radio program an addictive appointment tune for over a decade.

  Richard began his career at Toronto blowtorch radio station CFRB in the early ‘90s working as a producer for such broadcast luminaries as Ed Needham, John Oakley, Brian Linehan and Michael Coren.  By the late ‘90s Richard found himself on the other side of the microphone discussing cover-ups, political intrigue, conspiracies and unexplained mysteries.  His Sunday night program was a ratings winner and gained national media attention.  In 2003 he moved down the dial to AM 640 in Toronto where he produced an edgy morning show and continued to deliver his weekly late-night conspiracy show on Friday nights.  Richard returned to CFRB for two years beginning in early 2007 this time delivering a nightly program that quickly eclipsed Coast to Coast AM in the Toronto market.   In August 2009, Richard returned to Toronto airwaves Sunday nights on Zoomer Radio AM 740.  AM 740 is a 50,000-watt, clear channel with a powerhouse signal reaching New York City, Washington, D.C., Chicago, from Maine to Minnesota and as far south as the Carolinas.

  Despite the controversial nature of his show, Richard leads a quiet family life residing in Unionville, north of Toronto with his bride, the Mighty Aphrodite and his twin boys, Zach and North.

  The Land Of Osiris

  Stephen Mehler’s fascination with ancient Egypt, which began at the age of eight, has guided his education and spiritual work all his life. Mehler holds three degrees in the sciences and is a trained field archaeologist and prehistorian. Mehler also served as a Staff research scientist for the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, in San Jose, California from 1978-1980. For almost 16 years, 1992-2008 , Mehler was a student, disciple, and close friend of Egyptian-born Egyptologist and indigenous wisdom keeper, Abd’El Hakim Awyan (1926-2008), popularly known as Hakim. Stephen has written two books, The Land of Osiris (Adventures Unlimited Press, 2001) and From Light Into Darkness: The Evolution Of Religion In Ancient Egypt (Adventures Unlimited Press, 2005), based on his work and collaboration with Hakim and Stephen’s over 40 years of research in the area. Stephen is currently Director of Research of both the Great Pyramid of Giza Research Association and his own Land Of Osiris Research Project. He also leads tours to Egypt and is working on a third book based on his work with Hakim. Mehler has researched the phenomenon of crystal skulls since 1979, especially those known as ancient crystal skulls. Mehler has experienced and tested four skulls that he has labeled ancient artifacts and has seen as many as nine that could fit that category. Stephen has written a book on the subject with David Hatcher Childress, The Crystal Skulls: Astonishing Portals To Man’s Past (Adventures Unlimited Press, 2008).

  Today, America faces enemies that make the chilling world of the Cold War seem like much brighter times. The Islamic forces that have declared Jihad on America have caused the greatest threat to the life of the United States since World War II. The novel, "Patriot Acts" is a very original, well-researched and very plausible look into what could happen if the nation of Iran is allowed to become a nuclear power. All of the sites and stats and cultural aspects are true and thoroughly researched. Also, having lived in several Islamic countries, I have a first-hand ability to write about the lifestyles in places like Iran.
  
  The setting of this story takes place in the very near future with allusions into the past from the main characters. The characters are very profoundly developed in the areas of action, dialog and emotion. In Patriot Acts, America finds itself under covert nuclear attack from the Islamic Republic of Iran and the only person who can effectively retaliate against their aggression is Fisher Harrison, the best trained Special Ops killer the military has.
  
  Iran has represented the root of terrorism since 1979 until today. The only problem is that Fisher Harrison is in a federal prison, framed for a murder he did not commit, framed by his former boss, now the President of the United States of America. The plotting in this novel works from the premise that America faces three major challenges.
  
  One problem this story deals with is the growing threat with Iran and its desire to procure nuclear weapons. The next problem is the insecurity that America faces from the border with Mexico.
