Listen to the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the upcoming local governmental elections in the North African state of Tunisia; an Egyptian woman has established a radio program on the plight of her divorced counterparts; conditions for migrants in Libya continue to be in a deplorable status; and the Vatican has called for peace in the Central African Republic. In the second and third hours we will launch our monthlong tribute to Africa Liberation Day in honor of the 55th anniversary of the founding of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), the predecessor of the African Union (AU). We will listen to audio files on the life, times and contributions of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the first prime minister and president of the West African state of Ghana.
