Listen to the Fri. Nov. 25, 2016 edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the upcoming address by Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe before the national parliament; there has been an attack on Egyptian police in the Sinai region of the country resulting in the deaths of eight security personnel; the Green Party in the state of Wisconsin has petition for and won approval for a recount of the presidential ballots; and finally the people of Chicago have demonstrated for the second year in a row along the third most lucrative retail districts in the United States, the Magnificent Mile in the Loop in protest against a series of police killings of African Americans. In the second hour we rebroadcast a Global Research News Hour program from 2014 featuring host Abayomi Azikiwe discussing the geo-political origins of the Boko Haram conflict in northeast Nigeria. In the last hour we present an archived audio file from August 2016 which includes an interview with Abayomi Azikiwe on the Detroit economic and social crises.
