In the second hour we continue our recognition of the 90th anniversary of African American History Month which was founded by Dr. Carter G. Woodson in 1926. We look at the problems of African American historical periodization through a lecture delivered by Professor John Hope Franklin in 1969. Finally in the third hour and related to African American History Month, we present more primary source documentation commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Black Panther Party.
