Palm Springs Savant & Co #117 'Expecting Mary'

Tune in for special guest actress Linda Gray, star of "Expecting Mary". Well known for her role as Sue Ellen Ewing on TV's Dallas, Ms Gray is wowing audiences with her role as Darnella in this new film. As buzz continues to build around a film festival favorite, Expecting Mary will be released Sept 10th nationwide in select theaters. Expecting Mary is the story of a teenage girl who runs away from home and finds "family" among strangers. Executive Producer Jim Casey & Producer Kim Waltrip brought together a well written script by Dan Gordon, who was also its Director. Expecting Mary stars Linda Gray, Elliott Gould, Della Reese, Cloris Leachman, Cybill Shepherd, Lainie Kazan Gene Simmons and Fred Willard. The Palm Springs premier on Sept 9th will benefit the DAP. During the episode, the producers also share inside secrets to making a film and advice to independent film makers. Linda Gray shared her perspective on ageism in Hollywood and the difficulty in finding good roles for actors over the age of 50.
