She has had many psychic experiences. The paranormal has always fascinated her and she has been researching it for many years. She is clairsentient (senses spirits are present and picks up feelings about people and things) and clairaudient; (she hears paranormal noises and ghost voices). She would like to develop her ability further in communicating with ghosts. Besides ghost hunting, her other passions are reading (voraciously), belly dancing and creating pieces of art. Ben Myckan - Paranormal Investigator Ben is the oldest but not necessarily the most mature member of the group. His sense of humour and "voice of reason" provide a stability and a balance in the midst of an investigation or planning session. Ben can remember his paternal grandmother regaling him with stories of Old Europe which today would be classified as paranormal but at the time were just fascinating tales to entertain and teach a small curious child. It set the stage for a lifetime of pursuing elusive truths and instinctively knowing the universe is shared with others that may or may not be of another dimension or dimensions. Ben grew up in rural Alberta and finds comfort in communing with nature to cleanse away the toxins of the city. He had several out of body experiences as a teen and preteen (no, it wasn't drugs - cod liver oil during winter months was the only "drug" around in that era). Ben personally experienced a handful of paranormal encounters in various locales (Banff, Jasper, North Battleford, New Orleans, El Paso) throughout adulthood. He feels the vast amount of energy expended in the day to day pursuit of career and the almighty dollar has suppressed and robbed us of the natural abilities of psychic awareness and being one with the universe.
