But as they say- luck is what happens when hard work meets opportunity. I am a proud father to three wonderful children and I'm very happily married to the girl of my dreams, all of which I miss greatly while traveling to film the show around the globe. I have been interested in the paranormal since I was a child and I've been investigating since my early teens with friends at local hot spots. When I'm not hunting ghosts, I'm busy holding down three “normal” jobs. As to why I am still pursuing this field today- well, I am a very spiritual individual and I am constantly looking for proof of the afterlife, not for myself but for others.     Dwayne had an interest in the paranormal at a very young age. Although, he never truly experienced anything, he knew there must be something more out there. He and a group of friends accidentally invited a malevolent entity into their lives that turned their reality inside out. It took nearly a year to vanquish the entity but along that journey he discovered just how important faith is for a paranormal investigator. It has been since that journey, others seek him looking for help with the same diabolic darkness that influences their lives. Out of those experiences, Dwayne helped to found Western New York Paranormal of Rochester and Buffalo in 2001. Now a group of seasoned investigators, they help people find answers through a unique blend of scientific method, faith and intuition. Although Dwayne still remains an integral part of Western New York Paranormal, it was in April 2006 that he decided to pursue a solitary role as an investigator and demonologist to work exclusively with individuals involved in extreme hauntings and demonic cases. Dwayne has been involved and consulted on demonic cases across the United States with experiences up through exorcism with the Catholic Church.     JOIN US AS WE WELCOME BACK AUTHOR MICHAEL KLEEN WITH TWO MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS Michael Kleen: published his first novella, The River of Rain, which was closely followed by Tales of the Supernatural, in 2000 after enrolling at Eastern Illinois University. Both of these books were published on the print-on-demand label Xlibris, In 2004, he penned and published his now famous chapbook Tales of Coles County, Illinois, which led to a monthly series of digital newsletters regarding the legends and lore of Coles County. Several more short books, including Six Tales of Terror, came out on his independent label Black Oak Press, Illinois. Michael graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Eastern Illinois University in the spring of 2006, and went on to found Black Oak Media, an alternative media outlet for Middle American art and culture. He now is the editor in chief of Black Oak Presents, a digital magazine, and writes a monthly electronic serial Legends and Lore of Illinois. Michael wrote a biweekly column for the Daily Eastern News between October 2006 and April 2007 and now publishes a monthly or bi-weekly column on Strike-the-Root. In October 2007, Michael presented a paper on the Peace Democrats in Illinois during the Civil War at the 2007 Conference on Illinois History.
