    Back Pain on Pain Relief Radio with Kathryn Merrow

    The most common cause for back pain is...you guessed it!  Your muscles!

    The most commonly overlooked cause for pain in your back is...right again!  Your muscles!

    Your body is very smart and also very logical.  There is always a reason or cause for your back pain.  The reasons vary from person to person depending on many factors.

    My goal is to give you the information you need to take action.  You MUST take action if you wish to get well.  As they say:  You can't hire someone to do your push-ups for you.

    Back pain can be caused by trigger points in your muscles.  Trigger points are very irritable areas of muscle or soft tissue that cause pain somewhere away from themselves.  Strained muscles also cause back pain.

    Muscles that are short in the front of your body (or have trigger points in the front of your body) can also cause back pain.  Muscles attach to your spine.  LOTS of muscles!  Knowing what to do to help those muscles be happy again will help you reduce or relieve your back pain.
