Holly Bjornsen is a children's author from Parker, Colorado, where she has lived on five acres in the country with her veterinarian husband of 37 years. She studied Occupational Therapy at CSU, worked at Levy Home Entertainment distributing books and was a part-time receptionist at Parker Day Spa for several years.

Along with caring for a myriad of animals, she has raised children and experienced a part of every single true story presented in her books. Now that she is reading to her grandchildren, she felt it was time to share with them and others the wonders, the laughter, the tears and joy that come through sharing our lives with animals.
