With her whiskey and smoke voice, Rowena Whaling joins RevKess and KaliSara for a chat about her musical career and her resent launch into the world of fiction writing. Rowena's musical background spans genres and decades, but many of the Pagan community know her for her albums My Mother's Song and Book of Shadows. In August of 2014 she released her first book in a series called Voice of the Stars, "the true, in-depth, eye-witness chronicle of the world of the King, Arthur, and his compatriots of his Alliance of the 5 distinct cultures living on “These Our Fair Isles”: the original Old Dark Tribes, the Celtic Clans, the Roman-styled Britons, the Picti and the original, ‘legal’ Saxons, whose land was obtained through barter with Vortigern. It is also the real story of Arthur and Morgan’s tragic, Star-crossed love for one another, the devoted loyalty of their brother of the heart, Bedwyr, the strength of their mother, Igraine, Great Seer of the Old Dark Tribes, the treachery of their other sister Morganna le Faye, and the never before told story of the only child of Arthur’s blood, Mordred."

Special thanks to Nadine Murphy of Murphy's Magic Mess on KZUM-Lincoln for introducing RevKess to Rowena's music and to Sylveey Selu of Green Egg Magazine and Green Egg Radio for making the introduction to Rowena herself.
