Seven Roles Children Play in Our Lives! Michelle Starkey is my guest author. We'll be talking about one of her books, "Do you Know who Your Children Are?" and it discusses the seven roles children play in our lives:Teacher, Healer, Guide, Spiritual Companion, Sage, Healer & Friend. Children play many roles in our lives, whether they are raising our awareness or keeping us young, they love and accept life. From from messenger, sage, teacher, guide, spiritual companion, healer and friend, our children have the ability to bring out the best - and worst in us. We'll examine each of the seven main roles a child plays in a parent's life and learn how to understand language cues, develop intuitive strengths, the power of positive persuasion and self discipline. Discover the gifts children bring and what a parent can learn about his or herself while raising children. Through the eyes of a child, we can learn the biggest lessons of our lives! Michelle Starkey is a parent, award-winning author, artist and parenting coach. Her first book, a book of affirmations for children entitled, Do You Know Who You Are received an Honorable Mention Award for Children’s Books at the 2008 London Book Festival.
