    The Baseball Hall of Fame

Did the baseball Hall of Fame voters get it right this time around? I think it's been long over due for the inclusion of Jim Rice into the hall, there are few players with his numbers and type of career that have not been included into the Baseball Hall of Fame, I think much of it has been Rice's so called poor relationship with the writers and media alike. Rice was a devastating hitter and a well above par outfielder with the Boston Red Sox and I will argue that if Rice had played in New York or had been on a championship team in Boston his entry into the hall would have come much sooner than this years induction class.
Rickey Henderson is joining Rice in this years class of inductees, although Rickey sure thinks a lot about Rickey he belongs in the Hall, there may not have been a better lead off hitter than Mr Henderson, and once he was on base he drove pitchers crazy and made the stolen base popular. Though Rickey had a huge ego he could back it up on the base paths, so in this case the voters got it right and didn't mess around not putting in a player who was/ is worthy of this honor.
