Outside the Walls Minstry, a subsidiary of Pure Praises Ministries, "The Movement", was developed to inspire, uplift and empower God's people to become unified as one body according to the scripture in Ephesians 4:13. We were commmission by God to unify the body of Christ and we beleive that the only way to do that is to get the word outside of the walls of the church buildings and expell the myths that surround the word of God because of the antics of the church. We want to help to put ministry back into the right perspective as God intended for it to be and help those who are hurting become healed from the present and past hurt where the churches are concerned. We want to wipe the slate clean and start over with the truth, we won't say that the truth doesn't hurt because sometimes it does but the word of God say's that it make us free and it is that freedom that will achieve the purpose for which God has called this minstry. As someone very dear once said to our congregation, What has God done to hurt you so badly that you would want to leave him? Think about it. We hope through our ministry we can relieve you of your pain by removing the cover from church and Pastor myths. Be blessed!!

Why is prosperity so important to Christians. I quess if you look at it from a worldy point of view and striving to win souls it would seem that we need to compete. The reality of that is God did not call his people for competition. There is no real competition between The Almighty God and The Adversary which is the representation of good and evil and/or the world and the word. God created all things good and evil and he say that everything he created was good and very good so even the Adversary in his evil state is good and very good for his purpose. I know, what an awful thing to say that God has anything to do with sin (the adversary), I'm just quoting his word. It is written that the Love of money is the root of all evil (desires). What is love, let's break this thing down it is not that passionate feeling we feel when we meet someone and want to "jump there bones " excuse the expression but it is what God say's in the 13th Chapter of Corinthians, now in order to love something you have to put all of your time and energy into the effort of totally denying everything about you. In other words what God was saying to us the abiltity to put everything secondary to money means that you have it in the wrong perspective. Let's address somethings about "The Prosperity Message", what is it really doing for the church and for God's people? It's keeps them interested in going to church, it causes them to be able to compete with the world on a "worldly level", (bling bling). It keeps the church doors open although now the people give to get instead of out of their love for what they say they believe. It changes the focus of the people to be on giving (according to the scripture that's a good thing), but now we need to teach about motives for giving because of prosperity giving. Jesus said I am the way simply no man comes to Heaven (the Father) except by me. People their is no other way to get there. The word of God say's it is the truth that sets people free. The word of God records that the disciples who later became the apostles did not spend their time talking about how prosperous in dollars and cents they were. They spoke about how they worked, they were mistreated, they were imprisoned, they were stoned, they were hung and most of all they were hated Just like Christ. Now correct me if I'm wrong if God say's he changes not and Jesus is God in the Flesh and we are suppose to be like Christ then we should be experiencing the same things that the disciples did. Paul one of the greatest writers of the new testament didn't spend his time teaching prosperity messages. Come on people we are suppose to be exemplifying Christ, not mimicking the world. It is written if I (Jesus) be lifted up I will, not shall not maybe draw ALLLLLLLLLL men unto me. Okay there is nothing wrong with teaching the principles of giving because the church survives on the principles of giving but teaching giving to recieve is another step in the matrix. What is wrong with receiving? I'm glad you asked me that question, nothing is wrong with receiving but something is wrong with giving just to receive. Planting, harvesting, reaping and sowing these are truly God's principles but it has nothing to do with Salvation. Our job as Pastor's, Prophets, Teachers, Evangelist and Apostles is to go ye therefore into the world and preach the Gospel what is that the Good News about Jesus Christ and his coming back for a church without a spot or wrinkle. Fortunately for us he is not coming back until there is a church without a spot or wrinkle or the word would not have told us that this was why he was coming back. What is the church? I'm glad you asked that question, you are it is written know ye therefore that your body is the temple of the Lord's....so when you are perfected in your faith without a spot or wrinkle, Jesus will come back for you. The Prosperity Message, men and women of God just preach the Gospel. Where is the Gospel? I'm glad you asked me this question, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The Gospel is the truth and what set's a man free. The word from Genesis to Revelations is how we are to live once we understand the Gospel which is to believe (in Jesus Christ) to confess, (that he is Lord, died and rose for our sins), and to receive (power after the Holy Spirit comes upon us) to do what Christ did and as a seal until the day of redemption for you. It is all written and if you read the word you'll find that everything I have spoken is in the scriptures. So is the prosperity message wrong no but is it being taught for the wrong reasons in the wrong way (with a motive) yes. Love Ya Co-Pastor Sederia Graves Pure Praises Ministries, "The Movement"
