WHY MEN SHOULD PRAY (MAKE SERIES)

Apostle C. Kevin Ford was born in Chicago IL, where he graduated from St. Edmund’s and Mount Carmel High School.  He completed his college studies at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK, where he received a degree in Biblical Literature, and served as a director for the music ministry ensemble, Souls A’ Fire.  Apostle Ford organized and conducted an eleven-week tour throughout the United States, in which the group ministered in churches, schools and on various television programs.

After graduating, Apostle Ford returned to Chicago, IL where he continued to work in his home church, Church of God Prayer Tower as choir director, worship leader, nursing home coordinator, youth leader and ordained minister.  

Upon the death of his grandmother, Pastor Magnolia Dawson, Apostle Ford became the Senior Pastor of Church of God Prayer Tower in January of 1998.  After his elevation to the apostolic office, Kevin sensed a mandate to provide spiritual covering for those who are called to use their gifts to establish the Kingdom of God through the medium of the arts.  As a result, Lift Up Judah Arts Connection was born.  

Currently, Kevin and his wife Candace are the founders of Abiding Presence International Alliance, an apostolic covering for five-fold ministry leaders, churches and Para-church ministries, and Love Clones Inc., a full branding and web development firm.   Kevin is also the founder of Global Men’s Prayer Network and Sweet Sixteen Pound Cakes and Specialty Deserts.Kevin and Candace live in Chicago, IL with their son Nicholas Gabriel, and daughters Brianna Alexis
