This is the second show of the 2012 Fall term for SED 582-Personal Dimensions of Free-Choice Learning. Dr. John Falk hosts the show and his guest is Dr. Martin Storksdieck. Dr. Storksdieck is on the Board on Science Education for the National Research Council, Washington, DC. Possible topics to discuss include the ways prior knowledge and experience shape learning, the role of memory in learning, and how Advance Organizers support learning. Also, given time, we will touch on the current debates about individual differences, multiple intelligences, and learning styles. What do we need to know for our work in facilitating learning?
