Time to get one last edition of this series in before the film awards season begins! Tonight, Jason journeys back to 1932-33, the last time the Academy Awards timeframe would be split over two years. The Best Picture winner from this year, CAVALCADE, is probably one of the more forgettable of Best Picture winners, but tune in tonight to hear clips and discussion about this film and others from the time period that should have perhaps won. The series will resume again in 2010 after the 82nd Oscar season is complete!

Countdown to the 80th Oscars: Mid October
