This was the year that a Western won the Best Picture Oscar for the first time ever, and there wouldn't be another Western victorious until 1990! Birmingham, Alabama ... ever lives up to its original mission and truly supports local independent filmmakers, I will each year replay my first show talking about the huge disappointment I and others have had over the years with our local Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival. Also, beforehand, a brief update on Sidewalk in 2009. Join me on this special Wednesday night edition the night before this year's Sidewalk Film Festival begins. Also, hear some rare clips from the night of the world premiere for my first movie, Killing Christian, held in November of 2005.
