So tonight, it's time to reflect back on the past 3 years of the show, and this time, after a month long voting process on oscarworld.net, Jason will tonight reveal and play the Top 10 Most Voted Favorite Moments from the past 3 years! Original Air Date:

A Year At The Oscars: 1932-33

Time to get one last edition of this series in before the film awards season begins! Tonight, Jason journeys back to 1932-33, the last time the Academy Awards timeframe would be split over two years. The Best Picture winner from this year, CAVALCADE, is probably one of the more forgettable of Best Picture winners, but tune in tonight to hear clips and discussion about this film and others from the time period that should have perhaps won (I mean, look at these other films that should have won ... I AM A FUGITIVE FROM A CHAIN GANG, KING KONG, and 42ND STREET!) The series will resume again in 2010 after the 82nd Oscar season is complete!

  • Original Air Date:

A Year At The Oscars: 1931-32

The Academy Awards history series returns tonight with the next installment, bringing us back to 1931-32 for a look at the films of the time, the world events and music of the time, and specifically, an analysis of that year's Best Picture choice, GRAND HOTEL. Also, in the segment discussing other notable films of the time, Jason talks about one of the most unique and still haunting movies of all time, Tod Browning's FREAKS. Journey back in film and Oscar history with clips and discussion!

  • Original Air Date:

    The 3 AMovIeGOerS: November 2009

It's a new month, and that means it's time for another installment of everyone's favorite monthly series, The 3 AMovIeGOerS! Tonight, join Jamey, Garney, and Jason as they reconvene to talk about the latest movies and the upcoming films they are anticipating in the final two months of the year. And in honor of this month's Thanksgiving holiday, they will each present their lists of the 5 movies they are most thankful for, and then contrast that with their lists of 5 film turkeys. Don't miss the fun!

  • Original Air Date:

A Tribute to the Greatest Horror Film Ever Made: THE EXORCIST

In honor of Halloween coming up this month, Jason presents a tribute show to the movie he considers the greatest horror film ever made. A film originally released in 1973, it's ability to shock has not diminished in all that time. Jason takes you through the movie with clips and discussion revealing what has made this movie such a classic and an example of what a true horror film should be. And also tonight, a very special announcement about an upcoming show that requires your participation! And the Exorcist curse continued, as BlogTalkRadio problems caused the show to shut down about halfway through! #&^%#$&%#$

  • Original Air Date:

A Year At The Oscars: 1930-31

Jason's new series continues, taking one year at the Oscars for one show and discussing the world events of the time, the music of the time, and of course, that year's Academy Awards race and the popular movies of the time. This was the year that a Western won the Best Picture Oscar for the first time ever, and there wouldn't be another Western victorious until 1990! Clips and discussion about the Best Picture choice, CIMARRON, will wrap up the discussion!

  • Original Air Date:

    The 3 AMovIeGOerS: October 2009

The year just continues to hurtle on by, as we get closer to another Academy Awards season. Tonight, Jason, Garney, & Jamey are back together again for their monthly journey through the movies ... and as always, the unknown. With Michael Moore's new documentary, Capitalism: A Love Story, now showing in theaters, the three guys will present their lists of their ten favorite documentaries of all time. Join in to get some good ideas for docs to see by your three favorite movie experts.

  • Original Air Date:

A Year At The Oscars: 1929-30

Jason's new series continues, where he chronicles the history of the Academy Awards, taking one night to go back in history and examine the choices they made, and specifically to discuss the film that ended up as the Academy's choice as the Best Picture of the year. And as the 1920's concluded, the Academy's third Best Picture choice would be one that would definitely stand the test of time, as one of the greatest anti-war films ever made, ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT. Join in for the review and discussion.
