Artist Bio: Howard Sapp

Howard Sapp, a Florida native (Ft. Myers) now resides in Leesburg, VA with his wife (Faye) and daughter (Ashlee).
Howard, a gifted, talented, anointed and award winning gospel artist that is one of gospel music’s gifts to the body of Christ. His smooth vocal style and his anointed voice easily distinguishes him in the gospel music industry.
Howard began singing at the age of 5 with his brother and sister in a family group called the Sapp Trio. They traveled locally singing and entertaining wherever and whenever they could. Howard’s musical gifts and talents later help open the door to a four year vocal scholarship in college. Howard has traveled extensively nationally and internationally singing and preaching about Jesus Christ to crowds of all ages, denominations, ethnicities, and gender. He has shared the stage with gospel greats such as Commissioned, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, Men of Standard, and the secular group Foreigner and many others.
Howard has always remained true to his faith and accepted the call to the ministry in 1994. He has always kept the word of God first and watched how God brought his music along side the word of God. “ So the two shall be one”. This lead to Howard releasing his first solo project “Look At God”.
Howards’ powerful vocals and the anointing of God can easily be heard in this work. His songs of hope, faith, and encouragement reach out to persons of every race, color, or creed. Howard’s love for God and God’s people is evident in his life and his ministry. It is easy to see the anointing of God at work in his life, but Howard doesn’t want you to look at him but to “Look at God”.
