A Native of Saginaw Michigan who grew up trying to mimic the base lines of Marcus Miller, the keyboard styles of George Duke, the drum rhythms of Dave Weckl, and the guitar and vocal skill of Jonathan Butler, Daun-Te has developed a unique style of jazz music. Daun-Te writes, produces, sings, and travels with his ten piece band which consists of a drummer,  guitar player, bass player, two horn players, three background singers, himself on keyboards as well as lead vocals. He does at least 52 shows a year and perform
