Marie starts out her story, "My name is Marie. I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers. I lived with both parents. My dad was a carpenter and my mom was a homemaker. She would sale Avon sometimes. My mom was the piano player at the churches we attended. Dad made the money, planted a garden every year, and took care of all the yard work that needed to be done. Mom made sure she got the bills paid, groceries bought, food cooked, house cleaned, clothes washed, etc." and it goes on from there.  She's a survivor and moving forward from her life she had, the past of sexual assault, and a spouse that wasn't understanding the emotions that still had remained.  It's a story that many can relate to and I hope that you will join us to hear this survivor tell her story in her own words.
