More to come about this guest who will share her survival story and talk about trauma & repressed memories. Emma Wise is the pen name of a woman who was sexually abused as a child. In the years since she tried to kill herself at age 19, she has earned a bachelor's degree and two master's degrees. With the help of therapists, friends and her faith in God, though not organized religion, she has built a life and is married with three step-children and six grandchildren. Now she is 42 years old and she lives in her home town and is currently a social worker for abused and neglected children and a mental health therapist. She is currently working on a memoir of her life story and loves to spend time reading, writing, drawing, target shooting, being outdoors, playing with her grandchildren and traveling. Emma Wise knows first hand how evil can twist and turn a person's life inside out and knows it is a lifelong journey to heal, but a person can live a full life despite the pain and suffering in this world. "Lost Little Girl" by Emma Wise (c) "Picture a little girl running, alone, trying to find her way home. She’s six years old. She is running away from her babysitter’s house, carrying a painful secret. She's fleeing the (word omitted) the sitter’s sons shoved at her. And she's fleeing something worse, something that fills her with shame. Somehow, she finds her house – but the door is locked, and she has no key. She runs to a neighboring house." ...
