"When I was 18 I had a perforated intestine and went into toxic shock, waking up after emergency surgery in ICU unable to move as I was on a respirator. As I spent the next several days living solely in my mind, I realized that while I didn’t always have control over my health I did have control over my own thoughts and reactions." ~ Jason

Award-winning journalist, producer and television news director Jason Reid was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and arthritis at an early age. Today he runs "Sick with Success", a professional coaching organization helping ambitious people with chronic illness improve their engagement and productivity at work and in life. Jason also educates corporate leaders on how to better engage workers with chronic health conditions.

Join us as we learn from Jason Reid about the important role people with chronic illness play in the workforce and in our economy.
