Dara Frazier is an award-winning filmmaker

Dara Frazier is an award-winning filmmaker who has several years of experience in television and film production. She has worked on projects for MTV, Nickelodeon, Fox and more. She attended the Detroit High School for Fine and Performing Arts. She graduated from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago where she majored in Interactive Media. She is a journalist and former member of the Harlem Writer’s Guild and Amsterdam Writer’s Group. Her credentials include winning the award for Best African American Filmmaker at the Brooklyn Film Festival for her animated short film La Revolution. An excerpt from Dara’s debut play, Passing was produced by the Negro Ensemble Company in March of 2008. The non-profit theater helped launch the careers of Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Lawrence Fishburne and Angela Bassett. Cedric Hill, Director The culmination of Cedric Hill’s experiences in theater, film, education and the New York City club scene has led him to the passionate pursuit of storytelling. His works in theater include: A Soldiers Play, The Island, Acceptable Losses, Hamlet, and in film: Verse for Verse, Universe at War, and If We Shadows have Offended.
