Prior to her Nepal involvement, she went to seminary, graduating in 1990, ordained in 1991. She did zillions of weddings and she always has been touched by the love of all the couples She did other services as an independent minister, not within a church format. While in Seminary, she began the R Star Foundation for the prison work she has continued to do for nearly 30 years now. She remains active in prison work to this day.
The R Star Foundation evolved to a program for, “Women Helping Women & children in Nepal”.
