Director, Art of Living Foundation in Georgia  

Mona has been traveling and teaching Art of Living courses since 1994.  She is a highly regarded lecturer and instructor on life management, human values, Jain philosophy, and issues relating to harmony and diversity in society throughout North America, Europe, and India since 1994. She is a highly regarded lecturer and instructor on yoga, life management, human values, and issues relating to harmony and diversity in society. Among the many the universities and professional organizations that have invited her to speak include the U.S. Marshall’s Office in Washington, D.C, the Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta, the Vedic Center in South Carolina, Northwest Unitarian Universalist Congregation, Atlanta Unity, Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta, Spelman University, and the Terry Business School at the University of Georgia.She has been invited to conduct Art of Living courses at Emory University, Georgia Tech, Purdue University, Ohio State University, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

 

 
In addition to her various humanitarian activities, Ms. Joshi has completed her Masters at the University of Maryland in the Department of Comparative Literature and Cultures. She has been conferred with numerous awards and accolades for her academic work. Her unique research on women of the Jain faith has been highly received in academic and professional conferences at Yale, UCLA, Georgetown University, UC Irvine, North Carolina State University, and University of Maryland campuses. In honor of her service work through the Art of Living Foundation, she was inducted in the Morehouse College’s Martin Luther King Chapel Collegium of Sponsors in April 2010.
