Ifa Code of Conduct with Ifategunse Osadele
Sun. 8-9 PM EST

Ifa is an art form as well as a spiritual system for healing and guidance. Whether we acknowledge it or not, the natural and metaphysical forces that guided our ancient ancestors still remain - they didn’t just go away with the advent of the industrial age and other trappings of modern societies that made our lives more convenient. For the majority of us, we don’t encounter those forces- knowingly, at least- unless we are facing life-altering experiences or problems, or deep spiritual dilemmas. Those with personal problems or difficult situations have taken solace in church, therapy sessions, or even the confidence of a friend or close family member who is easy to talk to. However, another resource that Americans of African descent especially- and people of other cultural backgrounds generally- are now realizing they can tap into the spiritual traditions of their West African forbearers for a deeper understanding of the roots of those problems, and workable solutions to resolve them.
