I do not believe that there is self hate within the Black community. Blacks never fully assimilated into American society. Instead, Blacks formed their own ideas and customs in society, developing their own culture. Therefore, people outside of the black race may not be familiar with Black culture and may not understand it. Often the Black culture is misinterpreted and negative stigmas are applied, causing stereotypes to manifest. Conversely, in order for blacks to succeed within American cultur
