World Wide Word Radio Network blogtalk presents a celebration of the life and work of friend, teacher, poet, writer and Outlaw Poetry progenitor Todd Moore. Todd Moore (1937-2010) was one of the most influential underground "outlaw" poets of his time, inspiring poets around the world through his lifelong work as a poet. His opus "Dillinger", which he spent 30 plus years of his life writing, is a masterpiece of American verse. He and New Mexico poet pal Tony Moffeit together established what has become popularly known as outlaw poetry. Joining S.A. will be friends, poets, publishers and editors Wolfgang Carstens, John Dorsey, Nelson Gary, Jason Hardung, John Macker, Raindog, Richard Vargas, Mark Webber, Lawrence Welsh and others. We will also be playing choice cuts from Todd's Vox Audio CDs and Mark Weber's AllBurXerxQue CD. Listeners may call in during the show to read work by and about Todd or share stories at 718.508.9717
