Junior Smith, known by his stage name Analogy is a writer, poet, and performer. He is a native of the island Anguilla and lived in Houston, Texas before settling in Miami, Florida where he now makes his home. At the age of 12, Analogy developed a passion for creative art and verbal expression when he and a childhood friend wrote a love song entitled “Sorry”. He has always been intrigued with the ability that words have to produce a myriad of emotions that can stir the soul to its innermost core. Analogy’s spoken word talent has taken the world of poetry by storm, “I don't wanna be known for how many lines I can make rhyme,” he explains, “I wanna be recognized for how many times I can spark a mind”.  His versatility, humility, and fierce stage presence allow him to deliver inspirational pieces like “Field of Dominoes” and “Vision of a Black Woman” with a dynamic, undeniable flow.

Analogy constantly strives to broaden the impact and reach of spoken word poetry in its efforts to transform and revolutionize arts, entertainment, and empower audiences across the globe. He continues to receive phenomenal response to his poetry and his fan base is ever-increasing. Analogy’s infectious stage presence coupled with his intellect has positioned him to change the way that people experience poetry. “My goal is to revolutionize minds one line at a time”. -Analogy
