Year of October is a blues/rock band based in Nashville, TN. Made up of book and movie nerds Phlecia Sullivan (vocals), Josh Sullivan (guitar/bass), & Greg Diamanti (drums) their love of stories really shows in their new record “Golden Days” is currently out now.

Their songs are written straight from the heart. The soulful vocals backed by fuzzed out guitar and tight drums make your ears happy and your feet want to move. Their influences range from Led Zeppelin and The Black Keys, to Norah Jones and The National. They create a great new sound that you won’t soon forget.

Year of October released their first album “Stories” in the spring of 2012 before they met their current drummer Greg. He joined the band in the fall of 2013 after becoming friends with Josh who was his bank teller. They have been touring the southern region of the United States the past two years and have played over 100 shows.  They truly are a band that strives to make great records that not only stick with you but demand to be listened to.
