Why do people call America a Christian Nation? Our discussion so far finally allowed us to define "religion." We were also able to begin defining the difference between religion and sprituality. This program will continue with addressing other pertinent questions leading up to being able to clarify whether or not America could or should be labeled as a "Christian Nation." And if America is not a Christian Nation, do the other religious influences address health issues and politics? There is a grant announcement posted by the John Templeton foundation offering up to $200,000 to explore these concepts. The Title for This area of interest is "How Does Spirituality Promote Health?". WEBSITE LINK: http://www.templeton.org/what_we_fund/2010_funding_priorities/how_does_spirituality_promote_health/index.html These programs are designed to offer tangible solutions to the critical issues that are challenging the quality of life in various populations. We invite forward thinkers, entrepreneurs and solutions oriented talkers to engage in meaningful problem solving. These episodes may be forwarded to government officials and others to let them review solutions oriented discussions.
